Bio

Shaun Bevan has recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Before college, he was a Special Operations aircraft loadmaster in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Okinawa, Japan.  During his time in the military he traveled extensively across Southeast Asia and developed a passion for foreign cultures and meeting new people. He hopes to continue his travels with his camera while documenting the lives of people he meets.

In college, Shaun completed two internships with the Sanford Herald and the Orlando Business Journal, and has published photos on the Orlando Sentinel web site. As a hobby, he is studying the Chinese language and developing short fiction.
